Article Processing Charges (APC)

The MISJ-International Journal of Medical Research and Allied Sciences, published by Malwa International Scientific Journals, is an independent self-supported academic publishing organization and does not receive financial support from governmental or external funding agencies.

To maintain editorial operations, peer review management, website maintenance, digital publication, DOI registration, archiving, and other publication-related services, the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts.

Submission Fee

There is no article submission fee.

Authors may submit manuscripts for editorial evaluation and peer review free of charge.

APCs become applicable only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication.

National Authors (India)

Publication Fee: INR 4000

The APC supports:

  • editorial processing,
  • peer review management,
  • manuscript formatting,
  • online publication,
  • DOI registration,
  • website and server maintenance,
  • digital archiving,
  • and long-term accessibility of published content.

Discount Policy

IJMRAAS may provide publication fee discounts under the following conditions:

  • Authors from developing countries may receive up to 25% discount on APCs.
  • Editorial Board Members and Editors may receive up to 50% discount.
  • Returning authors may receive up to 20% discount on subsequent submissions, provided previous submissions did not receive discounted APC rates.

Additional waiver or discount requests are evaluated on the basis of:

  • author country classification,
  • financial circumstances,
  • and manuscript quality.

Editorial decisions are completely independent of APC payments. Editors and reviewers do not have access to author payment status during the peer review process.

Refund Policy

Once a manuscript has been accepted for publication, the applicable APC becomes payable.

APCs are generally non-refundable after:

  • editorial acceptance,
  • production processing,
  • DOI registration,
  • or publication workflow initiation.

No refunds will normally be issued after publication processing has begun.

Editorial Independence

Payment of APCs does not influence editorial decisions.

All manuscripts are evaluated solely on:

  • scientific quality,
  • originality,

Acceptance or rejection decisions are made independently through the journal’s editorial and peer review process.
